Go Normal Summons "Gouki Suprex" (1100 → 1800/0) in Defense Position. In the Battle Phase, Go activates "Gouki Headbutt" (800/0), sending another "Gouki" monster from his hand to the GY. He sends "Gouki Rising Scorpio" and targets "Suprex" ("Suprex": 1800 → 2600 ATK). Go uses "Headbutt", "Twist Cobra", and "Suprex" to Link Summon "Gouki Thunder Ogre" (2200/LINK-3/↙↑↘) to the Extra Monster Zone. As the equipped monster was sent from the field to the GY, Go activates its effect to add a card from his Deck to his hand. As he added three unknown cards, Go activates their effects, to each add a "Gouki" card from his Deck to his hand. He adds three unknown cards. He Special Summons "Gouki Twist Cobra" (1600/0) and "Gouki Rising Scorpio" (800/0). He then uses "Headbutt" (800/0), "Rising Scorpio", and a third unknown "Gouki" card through a chain, to Link Summon..
"Gouki Thunder Ogre" (2200/LINK-3/↙↑↘), Tributing the 3 unknown cards for the Link Summon. He then activates the effect of each monster, to crush Genome's Synchro monsters easily. He sets the three unknown cards for some later use.Go Normal Summons a "Gouki" monster from his hand. He Special Summons a "Gouki" monster in Defense Position after combining the effects of three cards. As he Special Summons it, he uses its effect to increase the ATK of another "Gouki" card by 800 ("Headbutt", "Twist Cobra", and "Suprex"). Next, he adds three unidentified "Gouki" cards to the hand ("Gouki Dark Mask" + 2 copies of one unidentified card). He equips it with a second copy of an "Ultra-Stygian" card, after which makes it Link Summoned through the previous effect of one Ultra-Stygian and one "Gouki Dark Mask".
Go Summons "Gouki Suprex". This monster increases the ATK of all "Gouki" monsters by 800. In his hand, Go has three "Gouki" cards. He equips "Thunder Ogre" to that monster, increasing its ATK by 800. Every time Thunder Ogre's effect activates, Go adds one "Gouki" card from his Deck to his hand. He adds three unknown cards and activates them to each increase the ATK of the equipped monster by ATK different amounts. Genome believes this is enough for Go to win the Duel, but he realizes an error in his strategy and decides to finish the Duel. However, Go has more tricks up his sleeve…Go Normal Summons "Gouki Suprex" (1800/0) from his hand. As Go Normal Summons "Gouki", its effect activates, so that he can Special Summon a "Gouki" monster from his hand by discarding any card, and by sending to the GY a "Gouki" monster whose total ATK is less than the ATK of "Suprex".
The king of Gouki Link Summons with ease! Go Normal Summons a Level 4 "Gouki" monster, and with one card's effect activates another as Chain Link 1, so that he can use its effect again and again. "Thunder Ogre" then attacks, but Genome remains undamaged. He Sets a Spell/Trap Card and a monster from his hand. Genome draws "Climax" from his Deck. There's no way to stop the attack! My Genome was the only one in this group to lack a "Gouki" monster, which still made Go look like a formidable presence. After making sure Genome knows I'm going to be on the field with 10 monsters ready to attack, I Summon "Thunder Ogre", then Link Summon two more of them. Then, thanks to "Gouki Dark Mask", I could send as many "Gouki" monsters as needed to make sure his defenses were decimated. Our mysterious hero, Genome. This time he's traveling to the ultimate desert. The first of his friends to battle in his desert journey is General Go, leader of the "Gouki" monsters. He rides "Gouki Thunder Ogre" to open a Portal to that ultimate desert. As you see, he's riding on his trusty "Gouki Suprex". Those who enter the portal will not return for only 13 days without any communication. There is a common misconception among those who don't regularly play the Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG that new cards cannot be added to Extra Decks. This is not the case, but you will have to release your opponent's backrow during each player's turn. That said, it's a good rule of thumb to avoid sending cards like newer Gagagars, as they are too powerful for this strategy to not draw them in every duel.
So how do you build a deck that only requires you to use Extra Decks? You'll want one or two cards that will let you resolve them with minimal effort. "Suprex" and his form come equipped with two monsters: "Thunder Ogre", who can activate their effects repeatedly; and "Dark Mask", who reduces the DEF value of each opposing monster by 2000 upon being destroyed. With Gouki Dark Mask on Thunder Ogre, this combination can quickly and reliably summon the much stronger Gouki Thunder Ogre Speciall Summoned from your hand, which has 1900 ATK and can reliably clear out weakly statted monsters in just one hit. When your opponent finds themselves unable to survive your barrage of monsters, keep yourself alive as long as possible with "Gouki Gaseous FormGenome, many years ago you had a bad encounter with a "Gouki" card. Now here today, with just three cards, you summoned "Thunder Ogre", the strongest "Gouki" monster we have. This is a perfect example of the ill powers wielded by the Gouki archetype! When you Normal Summon a normal monster, you can add a "Gouki" card from your Deck to your hand. That's where Gouki Suprex comes in! Doubling your Normal Summon is what spells victory for this Deck, so you'll always end up with more cards when it matters most. Using "Spare Room" will let you play at least 1 more card from your hand each turn; any "Gouki" card can do the trick since they are all Normal Monsters! He keeps adding Gouki cards to his hand while discarding all six of his cards, adding to the growing pool of deck-thinning monsters.
